Palm leaf weaving is a traditional handicraft spread among the folk in China. In the past, many folk artists took fresh palm leaves as original materials, entwined and knotted the leaves with interspersed edge skills and some other techniques, and made palm leaves into small animals. These handicrafts would be presented on a straw handle. If a customer meant to buy one, the folk artist would weave palm leaves on the spot, which was popular with children.
